In total they picked up 28 awards at the ISC, including Gold for Glayva, Jura Prophecy, Dalmore Aurora and Astrum, Whyte & Mackay 40 year old and the Invergordon Single Grain, and a further 29 at the IWSC.
Amongst the medals at the IWSC, Jura 21 years old and 30 years old both picked up Gold ‘best in class’ medals as did the Whyte & Mackay 13 year old.
The Dalmore also picked up a host of awards including Gold medals for some of its rarest releases – Dalmore Astrum, 1974, 1980 and 1981 – while the recently-released Dalmore Aurora picked up Silver ‘Best in Class’.
Paterson described the awards as “a great testament to the brands and fantastic recognition to everyone at the distilleries and elsewhere who work on them” and “recognition for all of us by our industry peers over at the IWSC”.
