Michelin-starred chef Dev Biswal is to serve a special 7-course meal matched with whisky at his Ambrette restaurant in Margate, and Ambrette@Rye in the historic Cinque Port.
The menu, inspired by a trip north of the border, includes kedgeree prepared with Tullibardine; Lamb marinated in spices and Laphroaig single malt; Halibut prepared with coconut, mustard, ginger and 16 year old Glen Moray; as well as venison served with an apple, Cragganmore, fennel and clove sauce.
For dessert, diners can chose between a “Drambrulee” or mango ice cream with Glayva, reports easier.com.
Each course comes with a selected dram of whisky matched to the dish.
