New post for Tullibardine director

A former Tullibardine director has joined foreign exchange firm Farleywest Agencies, says a report.

The Scotch whisky industry veteran will join the company as an associate director.

Michael Beamish, who has worked for more than 30 years in the industry, is currently a non-executive director at Tullibardine distillery, says Business7.

Beamish was one of the group of investors who were responsible for reviving the distillery back in 2003.

Founder Chris Farley-West told the newspaper that the appointment would help the firm to roll out of the XenfinFX platform to their customers.

He is quoted as saying: “Clients will not only benefit from rates of exchange normally only available to multi billion pound deals but also receive an excellent personal service.”

Beamish was formerly a regional director at United Distillers and sales and marketing director at Drambuie.
