To celebrate the release of the new batch of their Flaming Heart blended malt whisky, Compass Box have declared Wednesday, 3 October to be Flaming Heart Day!
The artisan whisky blenders have arranged for stock to be available for tasting in 20 retailers around the country, so fans can pop into the one nearest them and try the new edition of Flaming Heart.
Participating retailers so far include: Aberdeen Whisky Shop, Arkwrights (Highworth nr. Swindon), Duncan Murray (Market Harborough), Edencroft (Nantwich), Field & Fawcett (York), Glenross (Edinburgh), City Beverage Co. (London EC1), Good Spirits Co. (Glasgow), Hedonism Wines (London W1), Imbibros (Farnham/Godalming), Liquid Pleasure (Tenterden, Kent), Nickolls and Perks (Stourbridge), Royal Mile Whiskies (Edinburgh), The Whisky Exchange (London SE1), Wright Wine (Skipton), Whisky Online (Blackpool), Mill Hill Wines (London NW7), The Whisky Shop (Lincoln), Latitude Wines (Leeds).
Like previous editions, the new Flaming Heart combines Highland malt with heavily-peated Islay malt with the addition this time of a small proportion of whisky matured in sherry casks for added richness.
