Whisky events specialists, The Whisky Lounge, are inviting patrons to taste some ‘dram’-atic whisky this weekend in William Shakespeare’s home town Stratford.
The Whisky Lounge Fest is being held in the town’s Shakepeare Centre and will feature around forty different whisky distilleries.
Confirmed exhibitors include Benromach, Diageo, Gordon & MacPhail, Suntory and Cooley.
The event runs from 12 noon and there are three additional workshops (an additional fee applies for these) – a Beginner’s Guide to Whisky; Colin Dunn’s the Magnificent Seven; and a tasting of The Whisky Lounge’s latest single cask bottlings with head man Eddie Ludlow.
Tickets are £25 per head, and include tasting glass, programme and a bottle of water, available from http://www.thewhiskylounge.com/book-now/whisky-lounge-fest-midlands-2012/.
