Tomatin Distillery has annoucned that there are still some spaces available for the Tomatin Single Malt 54-hole Pro-Am, a three day pro-am golf tournament which takes place at the beginning of next month.
The tournament takes place between 1-3 October at three of Scotland’s top courses – Castle Stuart, host venue of the 2012 AAM Scottish Open: Nairn, which staged the 2012 Curtis Cup; and Royal Dornoch which was the scene of the 2012 Scottish Amateur Championship.
The event will follow the format of the Dunhill Cup with teams spread across the three courses on each of the three days. Entry for a team of three amateurs and a professional is £1,700 (+VAT), which includes a round at each of the three venues with a Gala Dinner at the conclusion of the event.
Remaining spaces will be allocated on a “first come, first serve basis”. Amateur teams may enter without a Professional, and they will be teamed with one of the leading players from the PGA in Scotland Order of Merit.
With around £60,000 of prizes and prize-money on offer, the Tomatin Three Day Pro-Am has the biggest purse of any golf event in the UK outside of the European, Challenge or EuroPro Tours. Anyone interested should contact email@example.com or see www.castlestuartgolf.com/events for more details.
