Wine and spirits merchants Nickolls & Perks will be hosting a whisky tasting with Whyte & Mackay’s master blender Richard Paterson next month.
Nicknamed “The Nose”, Richard is world renowned for his knowledge and expertise in the world of whisky, and was responsible for analysing and re-creating the Shackleton malt found at the Antarctic explorer’s base camp.
Among the whiskies on tasting at the masterclass will be the Dalmore 1978 and the highly sought after 40-year-old Astrum single malt (which retails for about £1,400 a bottle!)
The tasting will also see the Midlands launch of the new recipe of the Dalmore Cigar Malt.
The Richard Paterson Masterclass takes place at Nickolls & Perks in Stourbridge on 21 February. E-mail email@example.com to book. First come, first served.
