Appellation Wines, an independent wine and spirits store in Edinburgh, will be holding a tasting of single cask malts from Islay, Speyside and the Highlands.

Malts on tasting on the night include Auchentoshan 11year old, Glen Ord 7 year old, Allt-a-Bhainne 11 year old, Craigellachie 12 year old, Laphroaig 10 year old and Bowmore 9 year old. All of the whiskies come from Douglas Laing’s Provenance series.

The tasting takes place on Tuesday 18 September in Appellation’s Dalry Road store at 8pm.
