Whyte & Mckay ambassador Richard Paterson has suggested that the Castle Leod Dalmore would make a great addition to any whisky enthusiast’s collection.

The Master Blender told Whisky.Scotsman that the Castle Leod Dalmore bottling is a special limited edition whisky.

Paterson said: “The Mackenzie was launched on March 17 last year however two weeks ago near Dalmore distillery at Castle Leod home of the Mackenzie Clan we were delighted to release the Castle Leod Dalmore bottling.

“This limited edition of 5000 bottles contains pure nectar from Dalmore 1995 which had been finished for 18 months in premier grand cru-classe wine barrels.”

He added: “Truly elegant and refined. For around £100 I can assure you it is well worth sourcing.

“It’s good to know that a percentage of this purchase will go towards the renovation of Castle Leod.”
