News has leaked out of the next planned expression to be released by the Isle of Jura Distillery – a 30 year old single malt!
While visiting the distillery earlier this year the author of the whiskyisrael.co.il blog got to try a sample of the upcoming malt and has let slip a few pertinent details in his latest posting.
The new malt is to be called The Standing Stone (or Camas an Staca in Gaelic) and takes its name from the largest of the island’s eight standing stones.
The 30 year old Jura will retail at £350 and is due for release in time for Christmas.
