Jim Beam’s brand new visitor centre at their Kentucky distillery is to be officially opened this week.
The new Jim Beam American Stillhouse is part of a $30m investment in bourbon making by Beam Inc.
The official opening ceremony this Wednesday will be attended by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and master distiller Fred Booker Noe as well as Beam’s Chair and Chief Executive Officers.
The new visitor centre will provide visitors with tours of the Clermont distillery for the first time in its 218 year history, reports Business First of Kentucky.
The ceremony also takes place on the first anniversary of Beam being spun off from its former parent company Fortune Brands.
