Following their sponsorship of the Auld Enemy Dinner before the Calcutta Cup Match this year, Glengoyne have launched their Auld Enemy Dram, with £20 off per bottle in the run up to Father’s Day.
Celebrating the long-standing sporting rivalry between Scotland and England, the Auld Enemy Dram is a 1990 Single Cask bottling from Glengoyne’s distillery, north of Glasgow.
The distillers describe it as having “a rich mahogany colour with a heavy and robust nose of hazelnut, prunes, cocoa powder, and liquorice with BBQ spice”.
The Glengoyne ‘Auld Enemy Dram’ is available from Vino’s stores in Edinburgh and online (www.vinowines.co.uk) or direct from the Glengoyne website (www.glengonye.com) for £175 per bottle (reduced from £195 for Father’s Day).
All proceeds from sales go to support Help for Heroes and The Bill McLaren Foundation.
