William Grant & Sons have appointed Event Management Group (EMG) to create a range of bespoke events around their famous Glenfiddich single malt.
In a move to target corporate clients, Glenfiddich have tasked EMG to provide exclusive opportunities to taste their range of malt whiskies.
According to their press release, pre-dinner tastings, themed tastings and informal drop-in sessions will be among the offerings, with the core package being the ‘Whisky Masterclass’. This will consist of experts from Grant’s guiding guests through Glenfiddich’s core range, as well as some rarer varieties.
Jason Ludlow, director of EMG, commented: “Glenfiddich is one of the few single-malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned, which reflects a passion passed down through generations. This passion for excellence mirrors EMG’s own passion for delivering only the best events.”
EMG says that whisky tastings are becoming more popular with businesses looking for events that are sophisticated, memorable and slightly unusual. The first tasting is booked for June.
