As well as the inaugural World Whisky Day this week, whisky fans in Quebec are in for a double treat with the first Quebec Whisky Day on Saturday, 31 March.
Quebec Whisky Day is the brainchild of The Quebec Whisky Club and is dedicated to tasting sessions, information and discovery of the world of whisky.
Three whisky master classes will be held through the day, with the first session hosted by Beam Inc’s whiskey ambassador Matt Jones and devoted to the world of bourbon. Tish Harcus, brand ambassador for Canadian Club, presents the second seminar on Canadian whiskey and the evening finishes with a presentation by Jonathan Lucks, Regional Director in Canada for the Swedish distillery Mackmyra.
Founded in 2008, the Quebec Whisky Club is a non-profit organisation devoted to sharing knowledge and promoting scotches, whiskies, bourbons and other spirits.
