Dewar’s Scotch Whisky is building on its association with TED, the “organisation devoted to ideas worth spreading”, by supporting the TEDxMIA conference in Miami Beach, Florida.
In July, Dewar’s was one of the sponsors of TEDGlobal, held in Edinburgh for the first time. The whisky maker commissioned artist Hugh MacLeod to create insightful illustrations each day reflecting his own thoughts on the conference talks.
This collection of unique illustrations were exhibited for the first time at the TEDxMIA conference in Miami Beach. In addition, Dewar’s entertained TEDsters with Dewar’s 12 year old whisky and signature Dewar’s cocktails.

TED has become a global phenomenon and is committed to the spread of great ideas and their positive outcome. This fits perfectly with Dewar’s own view of life that some things are just worth doing.”
