Between the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) and International Spirits Challenge (ISC), Chivas Brothers has collected a total of 16 Gold medals this year.
The Glenlivet picked up a Gold – Outstanding award at the IWSC for their 21 Year Old Archive edition, as did their Beefeater Gin and Royal Salute premium Scotch whisky. Aberlour won Gold – Best in Class medals at the ISC for two expressions, Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Cask Matured and Aberlour A’Bunadh.
In total, The Glenlivet picked up seven golds across both competitions, with IWSC Golds for The Glenlivet XXV, First Fill 12 Year Old and Nádurra Cask Strength 16 Year Old and ISC Golds for their 12 Year Old, 18 Year Old and Glenlivet Guardians expressions.
Chairman and CEO, Christian Porta, said in a media release: “It has been another successful year for us in the IWSC and ISC, and we are delighted that the judges have once again recognised the consistently high quality of our brands.
“We are proud to have such an extensive range and this recognition from the judges in both competitions is testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of our master distillers and blenders.”
