Diageo’s Bushmills Single Malt Irish Whiskey is celebrating a double result at a major competition in California.
The Irish single malt picked up a Double Gold award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as being named Best in Class among the Irish whiskeys.
Across their whisky range, Diageo picked up 14 medals: Bushmills won six awards, two of which were gold and one double gold, Bulleit Bourbon won two gold medals and Crown Royal and Grand Old Parr each brought home a gold medal.
Diageo collected a total of 47 awards at the competition, now in its 12th year, with Captain Morgan Spiced Black, Jose Cuervo Reserva de La Familia Tequila and Tanqueray London Dry Gin all also receiving Double Gold.
