The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh has announced that it will host a series of special tours to commemorate the forthcoming Royal Weddings.
The visitor attraction told Whisky.Scotsman that the new tours will including a tasting of four whiskies which have a royal connection.
Visitors on the tours will get the chance to sample a Chivas Regal blended whisky and three single malts from Glenlivet, Royal Lochnagar and Laphroaig.
The whiskies all have historic connections to the royal family- Chivas Regal are the official suppliers of whisky to Balmoral Castle. The Glenlivet was rumoured to be King George IV favourite Scotch whisky and Queen Victoria is said to have enjoyed drinking the Royal Lochnagar during her visits to Balmoral.
The Islay malt, Laphroaig, is reputed to be a favourite of Prince Charles.
â€˜Scotland’s Majestic Malts’ tour will be available every day throughout April, May, June and July.
