Utah distiller adds bourbon to range

Trade News

High West Distillery, in Utah, is to expand its whiskey range with their new American Prairie Reserve bourbon expression.

The bourbon will be a marriage of six and ten year old straight bourbons, reports the Shanken News Daily.

10% of the proceeds from the sale of the whiskey will be passed on to the American Prairie Reserve project in Montana.

On their website, High Spirits say: “High West Distillery is passionate about the American West’s culture, heritage, and natural beauty and wants to raise awareness of one of the most fantastic projects of our time: the American Prairie Reserve in northeastern Montana. We tip our hats to this amazing effort to assemble the largest wildlife reserve in the lower 48 states.”

The American Prairie Reserve will retail for $39.99, more details available at www.highwest.com/spirits/american-prairie-reserve/.
