Beam Inc have launched their new Knob Creek Rye whiskey across America, following it picking up the title of “Best Rye Whiskey” at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The official launch took place at this year’s 2012 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, where Knob Creek teamed up with celebrity Iron Chef Michael Symon to introduce their new whiskey to food & spirits connoisseurs from around the world.

This partnership will continue throughout 2012 and include bourbon-inspired cocktail and food recipes as well as quick-fire BBQ tips via Knob Creek’s Facebook page and Symon’s own limited-edition Knob Creek(R) Bourbon holiday label, which consumers can personalize.

Fred Noe, Beam Master Distiller and creator of Knob Creek Rye, said in a media release: “2012 has been a stand-out year for Knob Creek. 20 years after my father, Booker Noe, first introduced Knob Creek Bourbon to the world, I am excited to have the opportunity to apply his dedication to creating superior quality whiskey and introduce my latest innovation, Knob Creek Rye.”

Bottled at 100 proof and made with a blend of the finest quality rye grains, Knob Creek(R) Rye is available across the US and retails at $40.99 for a 750ml bottle.
