Auchentoshan

You still have ten days to pick up tickets for Auchentoshan Distillery’s third annual whisky festival on Saturday 16 June.

Following the success of the previous two festivals, the distillers will be opening the doors to the general public with an array of entertainment including music, comedy, cookery and of course, whisky!!

As well as having the chance to try samples of Auchentoshan, and other Morrison Bowmore whiskies, whisky patrons will be able to enjoy a pint of ale matured in Auchentoshan whisky casks at one of the two bars on site, as well as get the chance to bottle their own Auchentoshan from two dedicated casks.

Masterclasses on the day include: The Auchentoshan Introduction to Whisky, with Gordon Dundas, Auchentoshan’s European Brand Ambassador; Women and Whisky, with Rachel Barrie; Whisky and Ale; Whisky and the Environment; Triple Distillation & Maturation Class; and the exclusive Vintage Whiskies Master Class at 4pm.

You can find full details of the festival at their website http://www.auchentoshanfestival.com/. Tickets are £9.99 a head (£50 for VIP access), with masterclasses commanding an additional fee. All tickets are available at www.singlemaltwhiskyshop.com/store/auchentoshan.

Event Details

Organised by 2 local whisky enthusiasts, Chris Knight and Neil Rowley; we wanted a way to give fellow enthusiasts, and new comers alike, the chance to taste new whiskies from a wide range of distillers from around the world, along with some fantastic offerings from independent bottlers.

There are 2 types of ticket, an Admission ticket and a Masterclass ticket. A Masterclass ticket MUST be accompanied by an Admission ticket.

With the increased popularity of gins over recent years, we also wanted to raise people’s awareness of the fantastic products now available. There will be a number of gins available at the festival, giving you a chance to try new gins from some of the many artisan distillers.
