Over on their website, STV have teamed up with the Glenrothes Distillery to give viewers a chance to win a bottle of their 1988 Vintage Single Malt.
The Glenrothes produces a limited range of vintage whiskies alongside their non-vintage Glenrothes Select Reserve.
According to the distillers, vintages from the seventies and eighties are extremely rare, making this quite a catch – with the Glenrothes 1988 going for £100 a bottle.
Never before bottled, the 1988 has spent over two decades maturing in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks – giving the whisky citrus notes and a delicious cooked orange flavour with plenty of fruit evident on the nose and the palate.
