The Canadian branch of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society has entered into a partnership with Edgemont Fine Wines, Spirits & Ales as the exclusive retail home for SMWS products in Vancouver and on the British Columbia mainland.
The Canadian branch of the SMWS launched in Alberta last October and is expanding into BC in the Fall, with the appointment of Edgemount meaning they will be able to sell their exclusive bottlings on to society members.
Residents of British Columbia will be able to find out to join the SMWS through Edgemont later in the year, while the SMWS bottlings will be added to their whisky wall.
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) is the world’s foremost single malt whisky club, with over 26,000 members in 16 branches around the world. It has bottled from just under 130 distilleries thus far, with the bottlings available exclusively to Society members, with the Canadian branch releasing seven new bottlings every month.
