Scotch Whisky Experience

The newly re-opened whisky shop at Edinburgh’s Scotch Whisky Experience has added three new limited edition whiskies to their extensive range.

The shop has added two of the new batch of limited releases from Glendronach – the 41 year old 1971 (Cask #1247), matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon , and a 19 year old 1993 (Cask #536).

According to the Whisky Experience’s release, both share a flavour which is a “fantasia of dates, orchestras of spices and explosions of honey, Demerara sugar, sweet molasses, mocha and even fruit cake.”

Also in stock is the Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch 5, which was selected from five traditional whisky casks & four sherry butts from Warehouse 24.
