London bloggers and informal whisky society, The Whisky Squad, have announced details of their tastings (so far) for July.
On Thursday July 5, the Squad will be back in their “spiritual home” of The Gunmakers in Clerkenwell where they will be joined by Glenfiddich brand ambassador Jamie Milne for “The Evolution of a Classic”.
Jamie will be taking attendees through the history of the famous Speyside whisky maker, looking at how the family-run firm has blended change and tradition over the years.
On the 17th, the Squad will be at the Soho Whisky Club for “It’s a kind of magic”, where Dominic Roskrow will be taking attendees through some of the whiskies eligible for his new “Wizards of Whisky” world whisky awards. So expect to see some magical drams from outwith Scotland’s shores.
Tickets for each are £15 per head (there is no membership fee) and go on sale from Monday 18 June at their site (www.whiskysquad.com).
