The Macallan

The Macallan have launched a photgraphy competition to mark the third release in their Masters of Photography series, the Annie Leibowitz Edition.

The photo competition is running under the them “The Last Word” and photography buffs are being urged to upload portratis they have taken along with one word – ‘The Last Word’ – which captures the mood of their picture.

The photos submitted will be showcased on www.themastersofphotography.com, where users will be able to vote on their favourites – as well as share them via Twitter, Facebook and google+.

Each week one portrait will be chosen as ‘The Last Word of the week’ which will become Macallan’s Facebook profile picture for the following week. Prizes will be awarded monthly leading up to a final selection of winners as chosen by esteemed judges from the Royal Photographic Society.

Monthly prizes include the ‘making of’ book that details the collaboration between Annie Leibovitz and The Macallan; and a pewter hipflask encased in leather. The overall winner will receive a photography themed visit to the home of The Macallan.
