Glenfarclas tasting in Perth, Australia

Glenfarclas’ ambassador down under will be holding a tasting for whisky fans in Perth, Western Australia this coming Monday.

The tasting will be held in The Aviary Bird Cage restaurant on William Street and will feature whiskies up to 60 years old.

The whiskies on tasting will come from each of the last five decades, with the oldest distilled in 1952, reports the WAToday website.

Tickets are $120 per head and include a menu specially selected by executive chef Telina Menzies. Book by calling 9226 0259 or emailing emma@theaviaryperth.com.au.

Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside has been run by the Grant family since4 1865 and is famous for its sherried style of single malt.
