Bushmills Distillery

As well as hosting their first ever music festival in June, Diageo’s Bushmills Distillery is co-hosting the Bushmills Salmon and Whiskey Festival later this year.

Due to take place 21-22 September, the new festival is intended to encourage tourism and investment in Bushmills, which is billing itself as the ‘Gateway to the Giant’s Causeway”.

Tours of Bushmills Distillery and nearby McNaughton House will be available to festival-goers.

The Ballmoney Times quoted Councillor Sharon McKillop as saying: “The festival will showcase our local produce, services and village life. It will include live music throughout the day and guided tours of MacNaughton House and Bushmills Distillery for individuals wishing to sample the world famous produce of Bushmills.

“On behalf of the Bushmills Traders Association I would urge the local community and district to give this event their full support”.
