William Grant & Sons has appointed a new agency its digital and social media marketing.
Digital agency Crayon came out top in a competitive pitch to handle the Grant’s whisky brand globally, reports marketing site thedrum.co.uk.
Grant’s digital comms manager Liz Yeo said: “We first met Crayon to discuss their digital capabilities, and found an exciting offering ranging from traditional CRM, consumer insight and Social Media Strategy.
“With Grant’s being one of the world’s favourite whiskies, we’ll be working with Crayon to develop engaging programmes across digital channels that bring together a committed community of Grant’s fans.
The Drum also quoted Crayon’s Dan Thwaites as saying: “We’re very proud to become part of the Grant’s family. It’s great to blend our drinks sector experience with our digital capability for an independently owned brand with five generations of whisky making expertise.â€
