William Grant & Sons has appointed a new agency its digital and social media marketing.
Digital agency Crayon came out top in a competitive pitch to handle the Grant’s whisky brand globally, reports marketing site thedrum.co.uk.
Grant’s digital comms manager Liz Yeo said: â€œWe first met Crayon to discuss their digital capabilities, and found an exciting offering ranging from traditional CRM, consumer insight and Social Media Strategy.
â€œWith Grantâ€™s being one of the worldâ€™s favourite whiskies, weâ€™ll be working with Crayon to develop engaging programmes across digital channels that bring together a committed community of Grantâ€™s fans.
The Drum also quoted Crayon’s Dan Thwaites as saying: â€œWeâ€™re very proud to become part of the Grantâ€™s family. Itâ€™s great to blend our drinks sector experience with our digital capability for an independently owned brand with five generations of whisky making expertise.â€
